Moissanite Engagement Rings Under €100: What You Get

A moissanite engagement ring for under €100 can sound too good to be true, so it is fair to ask what that money actually buys. Here is an honest breakdown: what you get, what you don't, and which of our rings fit the budget.

What you get for under €100

  • A real moissanite centre stone. Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone made of silicon carbide, not glass or cubic zirconia. It rates 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, so it stands up well to everyday wear on the hand.
  • Plenty of fire. Moissanite splits light into colour more than twice as much as diamond (dispersion of about 0.104 against 0.044), so expect bright rainbow flashes.
  • A clearly stated size. Every ring lists its centre stone in millimetres and, where the supplier gives one, a carat weight. The millimetre figure is what you actually see on the finger.
  • Free shipping on every order, and 30-day returns.

What you don't get

  • A diamond. Moissanite is its own gemstone. It looks similar to diamond at a glance, and we sell it as moissanite.
  • Solid gold. Where a ring is described as white gold plated, the gold is a thin surface finish. The stone itself does not cloud, but plating needs gentle care: take the ring off for swimming, cleaning and the gym.

Why are these rings so affordable?

Two reasons. The stone is lab-created rather than mined, and none of these rings is made of solid gold. That is what lets a bigger centre stone, or a more detailed design such as a halo, fit a small budget.

Moissanite engagement rings under €100

  • Round Moissanite Ring, from €69.90. A round centre stone on a slim band with stone-set shoulders, white gold plated. 6.5 mm (supplier-listed 1 ct) is €69.90, 8 mm (2 ct) is €84.90 and 9 mm (3 ct) is €99.90.
  • Halo Moissanite Engagement Ring, €74.90. A 6.5 mm round centre (supplier-listed 1.0 ct) ringed by small stones, on a twisted pavé-set band. The halo makes the centre look bigger.
  • Oval Moissanite Ring, €94.90. A 7 × 9 mm oval centre (supplier-listed 2 ct) with stone-set shoulders, white gold plated.
  • Moissanite Ring Duo, €94.90. A ring with an 8 mm round centre (supplier-listed 2 ct) plus a matching stone-set band, white gold plated.

On a smaller budget

  • Three-Stone Moissanite Ring, €59.90. A larger round centre between two smaller side stones (supplier-listed 0.50 ct) on a slim polished band.
  • Petite Moissanite Ring, from €64.90. A 4 mm (supplier-listed 0.3 ct) or 5 mm (0.5 ct) centre with tiny side stones on a thin, gently curved band.

More styles, including radiant-cut and swirl halo rings, are in our moissanite rings collection.

How to read the carat numbers

Moissanite is roughly 10% lighter than diamond, so moissanite carat figures are usually diamond-equivalent weights: what a diamond of the same diameter would weigh. That is why we list both, and why millimetres are the better guide. A 6.5 mm centre gives the classic "1 carat" look; 8 mm looks noticeably larger on the hand.

Getting the ring size right

Our women's rings come in US sizes 5 to 8, and some styles come in fewer sizes, so check the options on each product page. The table in our jewelry guide converts US sizes to inner diameter in millimetres. If the ring is a surprise, measure a ring your partner already wears on the same finger.
